superkül, one of Canada’s most progressive architectural firms, wanted a book to celebrate their first ten years. In a deliberate departure from the glossy monograms so common in this space, we set out to create a deeply personal, intuitive experience that would reflect the firm’s unique philosophy and design approach. Beginning with the title itself, the exploratory nature of the format, from the subtle paper transitions to the special silver finishes to the different printing techniques used in production, mirrors the organization of materiality that characterizes and defines the firm’s work.
