Stendhal is a monographic magazine of contemporary art. Each issue will focus on a specific topic i try to exploit to the fullest, showing the most relevant within each field artistic projects. The magazine includes an annex (Stendhal Documents) which gives more information on the artists (as well as exhibitions, bibliographies, events …). The concept stems from Stendhal Syndrome, as it is the most extreme experience you can live contemplating art:
Def: It is a psychosomatic illness that causes an elevated heart rate, dizziness, confusion, tremor, palpitations, depression and even hallucinations when an individual is exposed to art, especially when they are particularly beautiful or are exposed in great numbers in the same place. This concept moved to the layout of the magazine, creating dense pages, using different resources, which transmitted the experience of Stendhal syndrome.
