Love is a simple shape play using a found still from early cinema. Stills from this time often have a calm aesthetic feel that renders them slightly unreal and creates a somewhat theatrical atmosphere. The scenes of love and affection in particular are more distant and controlled than those in today’s films and this lends the interaction between those depicted a faintly discernable, yet mysterious energy.
