In the center of Tel Aviv Israeli architects Ranaan Stern and Shany Tal from Raanans Stern’s Studio converted a small apartment into a versatile 20sqm artist studio. The full organized space contains a personal extraordinary collection of pieces dating from the 1940’s to nowadays. The entire furniture set has been organized taking care of the dimensions and the type of every piece in order to store everything according to groups, sizes and artistic connections. The closets, the units and the floor are made of white birch coated lightly so to emphasise the wood’s natural grain. Only when the drawers and the sliding elements are opened the colorfully painted parts can be revealed. Removable sliding doors are actually constructed using pallets that can be used as presentation boards or as modular easels.
