I love to dress like I am coming from somewhere and I have a place to go :
Flurina Rothenberger

How do you capture the scope, breadth and diversity of Africa? A plethora of lifestyles, dress codes, attitudes, moments in history, and landscapes, all just as exciting, or banal, as each other. My new book does not intend to do this. Instead it offers sober portrayals of everyday life. A small window into the varied corners of the continent. Personal glimpses pulled from my archive of images from the past ten years working in different African countries. The book is a close conceptional collaboration with the graphic design team hammer, published by Edition Patrick Frey.
