Auckland based design studio Douglas and Bec released Line, a new collection of lighting and furniture.
“The collection draws influence from sculptor Alexander Calder it combines a playfulness present in Calder’s work yet remains very signature of Bec’s work being paired back, formal and thoughtfully combining honest materials. The collection comprises of a floor lamp, a table lamp, wall mounted light wall, pendant light, three multi-armed manoeuvrable pendant lights and a side table. The colour palette extends to a dark smoky grey and a beautiful matte white combined with a mix of brass and pink hues that are ever present in Douglas and Bec’s work”.
